Several notable golf courses reside in the Hamburg area of Germany and are worth looking out for. Particularly popular is the Hamburger Falkenstein Golf Club, which dates back to 1930 and is highly rated throughout Europe.

The Hamburger Falkenstein Golf Club is an exceptional course and enjoys a heathland setting, with pine trees, birches and colourful areas of heather. With a hilly terrain, many challenging holes and particularly impressive views, this popular golf course has been host to the German Open on numerous occasions and is located around 25 km / 16 miles south of the city centre.

A round of golf at the Hamburg Treudelberg Country Club is not to be missed. Open throughout the year and just a 30-minute drive from the city centre, the club is home to 27 holes. The 18-hole course features a yardage of almost 6,800 and a par of 72, with water hazards, sandy bunkers and well laid out green areas along the way. All abilities will enjoy a game here.
