The many trees and plants found within the nearby Arboretum and Klein Flottbek Botantical Gardens are amongst the main horticultural attractions, while for a taste of local flora and fauna in the Hamburg area, why not take a guided tour around the Duvenstedter Brook Nature Reserve and get back to nature?

For sunbathing, picnicking, cycling, jogging and even boating, Hamburg's Hayns Park, City Park (Stadtpark) and Volkspark Altona are all equally appealing.
